Blueberry-Banana Smoothie

ALL HAIL THE AMZING BLUEBERRY. Seriously guys, blueberries are amazing to me. Whether it be in a pie, muffins, or this blueberry-banana smoothie IDC! I want it. Not only do blueberries taste great, they are also VERY good for you! Blueberries benefit the skin, promote heart health, fight cancer, boost the brain, and so much more! This recipe is a variation of one of my favorite smoothies from a childhood smoothie place my sister would take me to at the mall. I ALWAYS got the blueberry-banana smoothie with the boba, it was sooooo good and made me feel fancy to be walking around with a smoothie haha.

Back to the smoothie, this smoothie is very easy to make and I have one almost everyday now for pre or post workout. It’s also still really tasty if you like to add protein to your smoothie like my boyfriend does. So give this bad boy a try and let me know if it becomes one of your personal favs too!

BLUEBERRY-BANANA SMOOTHIE

  • Prep Time: 5m
  • Total Time: 7m
  • Serves: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon agave nectar or honey
  • 1 heaping teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 C almond milk or plant milk of choice

Instructions:

  1. Place all your ingredients into a blender. (I use The Boss by Breville) and blend until smooth and creamy!

**you could also use less milk and turn this drink into a smoothie bowl**
