Detroit Style Pizza – Fully Loaded Veggie

I absolutely LOVE pizza, my favorite form is Detroit style pizza! Although I personally have never been to Detroit a few pizza places in my area make it and OMG, so freaking good. What I love most about Detroit style pizza compared to regular round pizza is the fact the dough is almost Focaccia like; my absolute favorite part of the pizza is the crispy corners. *DROOLS*I have tried to make this pizza twice and I realized my failure was all in the pan, you have to make sure you do this in a deep rectangle dish. The right…

Strawberry Sweet Tea

This strawberry sweet tea is the PERFECT summertime drink! I first stumbled upon this drink when I lived in the south and sweet tea is only second to maybe water… MAYBE. I think people in the south may have sweet tea running through their veins.Needless to say fruit infused teas made at home not only taste better but they’re extremely easy to make, and have less sugar than the tea they serve at those restaurants. This tea is super refreshing and the perfect drink to make for a party, brunch, or just to sit out on the porch…

The Best Vegan Tamales with tomatillo salsa

Hey guys, Today I’m going to share a recipe from my Ebook for vegan tamales! Before I stopped eating meat tamales were one of my favorite foods to eat; so I knew it was only a matter of time before I created the vegan version!I topped these babies with a slightly spicy, but SUPER flavorful tomatillo salsa that is ridiculously easy for anyone to make with just a few ingredients. I filled some of my tamales with a delicious potato/veggie mix along with dairy-free cheese and some I just filled with the cheese, but don’t…

Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes

I don’t even know where to begin with these lemon poppyseed pancakes. They were freaking DELICIOUS!! These pancakes are full of lemony goodness along with tiny little crunches of poppyseed.I love how lemon filled these are. I don’t care for recipes that claim to be “lemon” but add only a tiny amount, ending in the result of a bland “lemon” flavored recipe. But not this, these are sooooo good. Almost like eating your favorite lemon cake for breakfast.Syrup honestly could be optional, but they just look so much sexier with that maple syrup drizzling down the…

Sweet Potato Chili (3 bean) – Vegan

Whoa. That’s all I could think when I took the first bite of this sweet potato chili. The idea for this chili came to me out of nowhere while I was cleaning up a mess from a previous recipe. All week long I’ve been thinking “Okay, it’s about time for some fall recipes”. What’s more fall than Chili and soups?Tbh, I have never been much of a chili kind of gal; usually because it’s full of beans and beans are something I just don’t care too much for. BUT, every now and then…
